Damien Arnol

Damien Arnol is the co-founder and director of J2-Reliance Ltd since October 2018, where their role and tenure are ongoing. Damien is also the co-founder and director of MedACE Clinicals since November 2021. In 2021, they joined Purecontrol as a Scientific Advisor, providing guidance to the Machine Learning team for developing core algorithms to enhance automation products. From October 2014 to September 2018, Damien worked as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Cambridge and EMBL-EBI, focusing on Gaussian Process models and Hierarchical Bayesian Factor Analysis models for image analysis. Damien also worked as an Intern Researcher at IBM Research, Cognitive Computing and Computational Sciences Department from June 2014 to October 2014. In 2013, they were an Intern Researcher at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, contributing to the development of the Kino-Geometric Sampler software. Damien has additional experience as an R&D intern at Sciengines GmbH in 2012 and the French Ministry of Defence in 2010, specializing in hardware and software development, respectively.

Damien Arnol earned a PhD in Machine Learning applied to Bioinformatics from the University of Cambridge between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computational Biology at the University of Cambridge from 2013 to 2014. Damien also obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from École Polytechnique from 2010 to 2014. Damien'searlier education includes attending Lycée Sainte-Geneviève from 2008 to 2010, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
