Ian Plener

Ian Plener has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ian founded Diagnose at Home in 2019, a company that provides accessible healthcare services through the use of technology in North America. Prior to that, they worked as a Gastroenterologist at Southlake Regional Health Centre starting in 2018. In 2017, Ian worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at Humber River Hospital.

Ian Plener attended Western University from 2005 to 2008, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Ian then enrolled at Queen's University from 2008 to 2012, completing their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. Following this, they pursued their medical residency at the University of Toronto from 2012 to 2015, specializing in Internal Medicine. Ian continued their residency at the same institution from 2015 to 2017, focusing on Gastroenterology. From 2017 to 2018, Ian Plener completed a Clinical Fellowship at the University of Toronto, specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
