Jessica Gordon

Jax Gordon is a Library Associate at Jackson County Library Services, responsible for assisting patrons and managing library materials since March 2023. In addition, Jax has been a Freelance Writer, Editor, and Translator for Unseen Japan, Taiken Japan, and LGBTQIA+ organizations since April 2014, focusing on LGBTQIA+ issues in Japan and providing translation services. Jax has extensive teaching experience, including roles as an English Teacher at Sagan Speak and Shane English School Japan, where curriculum development and diverse student engagement were key responsibilities. Earlier career experiences include English Communication Teacher at Shonan Gakuin High School and Assistant Language Teacher in the JET Program, emphasizing English language skills in various educational settings. Jax holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Transylvania University.
