Brandon Ashley joined Jackson EMC in 2018 after 10 years in Macon with the Georgia Farm Bureau, the state’s largest trade organization representing Georgia’s top industry. There, Brandon served as the advocacy and policy development coordinator, where he coordinated the Farm Bureau’s government affairs efforts to advance state and national public policy initiatives. Brandon also served as a liaison between the Farm Bureau and its industry stakeholders. Further, he managed the Georgia Farm Bureau Certified Farm Market Program, a statewide promotional initiative highlighting locally-grown foods. Brandon was also an inaugural member of a leadership development class called Advancing Georgia’s Leaders in Agriculture Forestry (AGL), a two-year program in which members learned about agricultural and community issues. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s of science in agriculture communications, Brandon is active in the Georgia Economic Developers Association and multiple chambers of commerce.
