Kevin Shin

Kevin Shin, CPA, has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2009 to the present. Kevin has held various roles in companies such as Jackson Healthcare, Global Payments, EY, ING U.S., and Emory University's Goizueta Business School.

Their most recent position is as Director of Accounting and Financial Analysis at Jackson Healthcare, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Global Payments from 2017 to 2022. Kevin started as a Senior Accountant, where they implemented a revenue recognition system and overhauled accounting processes, and later became the Manager of Accounting. In this role, they implemented new accounting guidance, delivered critical disclosures for SEC reporting, and oversaw month-end close activities.

Before Global Payments, Kevin worked at EY from 2014 to 2017 as an Auditor, where they planned, supervised, and executed multiple audit engagements, increased audit efficiency, and audited various SEC filing documents.

Kevin also has experience as an Intern at ING U.S., where they focused on consolidated reporting. In addition, they held leadership positions at Emory University's Goizueta Business School and the Association of Business Leaders at Emory.

Outside of their professional experience, Kevin Shin has also had roles in Konnect Career Expositions, Coffee Unlimited, and the Canadian Red Cross, where they gained experience in project management, financial management, and teaching water safety and lifeguarding skills.

Kevin Shin, CPA obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business with a focus on CPA Accounting and Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Prior to that, they received an Ontario Secondary School Diploma from North Toronto Collegiate Institute. In addition to their education, Kevin Shin has obtained the CPA certification from the AICPA in 2015 and is a CFA Level III Candidate from the CFA Institute.
