Joanna Hampton

Joanna Hampton, FSA, MAAA, is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience at Jackson since June 2016, where current responsibilities involve the Financial Planning and Analysis Team, focusing on automating model storage and results analysis to enhance actuarial insights for business decisions. Prior roles at Jackson included Senior Actuarial Associate, where Joanna developed the department's IFRS17 actuarial financial calculation model, and Actuarial Associate, leading maintenance and testing of centralized databases. Previous experience includes roles at Central Michigan University, where Joanna provided supplemental instruction in financial accounting and tutored in various mathematical subjects. Joanna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science and Statistics from Central Michigan University and has interned at multiple organizations, including Auto-Owners Insurance and Jackson, gaining valuable skills in risk assessment and statistical analysis.
