Shea Skorusa

Shea Skorusa is a seasoned medical professional with a diverse background in athletic training and education. Currently serving as a Medical Assistant at Jacksonville Orthopaedic Institute since August 2020, Shea has previously held significant roles, including Assistant Athletic Trainer and Teacher at Sumter High School, where responsibilities included overseeing student athletes' medical care and teaching sports medicine courses. Past experiences include roles as a Housing Assistant, Athletic Training Student, and Resident Assistant at Wingate University. Shea holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Columbia International University, a Master’s in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine, and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Wingate University.
