Dr. Idrisa Abdul-Hamid

Dr. Idrisa Abdul-Hamid has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Dr. Idrisa started their career at Citizens as a Financial Relationship Manager and Bank Assistant Manager, where they demonstrated strong sales and team management skills. Dr. Idrisa then moved on to Aetna, where they worked as an Account Executive Manager in the healthcare management field, developing new business clients and implementing healthcare benefits.

Afterwards, Dr. Abdul-Hamid joined New York Life Insurance Company as an Advisor, where they built and maintained a book of business through effective sales and marketing strategies. Dr. Idrisa then transitioned to roles at MetLife, first as a Regional Director of Training and Development, providing employee engagement programs and facilitating adult learning curricula, and later as a Financial Investment Director, supporting advisors with individual economic management strategies.

Dr. Abdul-Hamid's work experience also includes roles at The Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice as a Senior Director of Operations People Development and Culture, where they collaborated with peers to develop workforce planning and retention strategies, and at Phoenix Rise Global Group, LLC as the President and CEO, offering leadership coaching and consulting services.

Most recently, Dr. Abdul-Hamid joined JacobsWyper Architects as the Director of Process and People. In this role, they analyze and improves business processes, strategizes on long-term business planning, and makes recommendations for improvement in support functions.
