Jean Polka

Jean Polka has over three decades of experience in government contracting, currently serving as a Government Contract Specialist at the Wisconsin Procurement Institute since May 2014. In this role, Jean assists businesses with navigating federal procurement processes, providing training, guidance on compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, and support in contract management. Prior to this position, Jean spent over 30 years at Oshkosh Defense as a Contracts Manager in the Aftermarket division, where responsibilities included preparing solicitation packages and negotiating contracts with various defense agencies in collaboration with internal departments. Jean holds a Master Certificate in Government Contracting from ESI/George Washington University and a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, Operations Management, and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
