Lisa Conte

Lisa Conte has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Lisa is currently serving as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Member of the Board of Directors at Jaguar Animal Health since 2014. Prior to that, they held the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer and Director at Napo Pharmaceuticals, Inc. starting from 2001. Lisa Conte also founded Shaman Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 1989, where they served as the Founder, President, and CEO until 2001.

Lisa Conte completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth between 1983 and 1985. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Physiology/Pharmacology at UC San Diego from 1981 to 1983. Their undergraduate education was at Dartmouth College, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry between 1977 and 1981.
