Jon Munns

Jon Munns is an experienced leader in the digital development and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as the Head of Global Digital Development at Jaguar Land Rover since October 2012. Jon oversees multiple development centers across the UK, Ireland, the USA, and India, managing a large team of software engineers to deliver advanced onboard and cloud-based solutions for vehicles' infotainment and telematics systems. Previously, Jon held various positions at Ericsson, including Director of Strategy and Head of Software, where responsibilities included defining optical strategies and leading product development for next-generation optical communications. Jon's early career included engineering roles at GPT Ltd and Crosfield, complemented by an MBA from Nottingham University Business School and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Aston University.
