About the Role

We are seeking two highly motivated candidates to join our AI development team and help advance the capabilities and quality of ‘Airi’, our GenAI-powered customer-facing chatbot. This role combines development, iterative experimentation, and live product monitoring and enhancement. You will collaborate closely with various teams across the organization to define and execute our continual optimization process. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI technology and delivering exceptional user experiences, this role is for you. 

This role runs from July 1st, 2024, until September 6th, 2024. If based in the UK, it is expected that candidates would be able to travel to our London office to work or attend workshops as required. The role is a full-time role, 5 days per week Mon – Fri. 

  

Responsibilities  

  • Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for Airi to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Continuously enhance Airi's conversational abilities by integrating cutting-edge prompting techniques and knowledge base optimisation.
  • Explore novel approaches to improve conversation flow, response accuracy, and user understanding.
  • Monitor Airi's performance in real-time, identifying and resolving issues to ensure seamless user interactions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of new features and enhancements to maintain Airi's high quality and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to develop comprehensive test plans and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to leverage data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

  

You could be a good fit if you:  

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

  • Experience in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks, LLMs and libraries (e.g., Claude, Hugging Face, Langchain, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

  • Linguistics proficiency - Have a solid understanding of language constructs, syntax, and the ability to clearly and concisely create adaptive queries and instructions that will elicit informative and contextually relevant responses.

  • May have some experience in software development with a focus on AI and prompt engineering on LLMs- even if it’s just playing around with your own project.

  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques, particularly in the context of LLMs/conversational AI.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality products.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
