About the Role

he internship will run for 10 weeks from 1st July 2024 until 6th September 2024. The successful candidate will be required to attend our London Office 2-3 days per week. 

The role is within the Data Operations team, supporting the business with data availability, consistency and transparency focusing within Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering.  

Responsibilities include: 

  • Testing and Quality Assurance of deliverables across the team
  • Liaising with the business to scope work for new projects
  • Writing and contributing to the code base
  • Collaborating on technical work with ideas, innovation and planning
  • Ensuring all work is well documented

Key deliverable: 

  • Utilising the functionality within the Data Warehouse build code and base reporting for event data to provide enhanced visibility to Product and Engineering on an existing part of the customer user journey.

About you 

We are looking for an undergraduate/master's student or graduate with coding experience who is used to leading in projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and take a calm methodical approach to work.  

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor/master's degree in computer science or STEM related subject with an intermediate level of coding in SQL
  • A track record of fast development and learning
  • A thorough and resilient approach to projects
  • Understanding of the importance of testing frameworks
  • Eagerness to be part of technical development in a modern stack
  • Comfortable working remotely

Desired: 

  • Experience of coding in Python

  • Strong interest in technology and innovation
