Bryan Barragán has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Bryan started their career in 2010 as a Monitor - Becario at the Universidad de Antioquía, where they provided assistance to students and supported the professor in the course of Introduction to Telecommunications Engineering. Bryan also worked as an Auxiliar administrativo - Becario, where they were responsible for registering the use of classrooms and audiovisual equipment, as well as maintaining computer equipment and configuring operating systems.

In 2022, Bryan joined the Fundación Jala as a QA Trainee, where they received training in manual testing using functional and non-functional testing techniques. Bryan performed API testing, utilized SQL for test data insertion and retrieval, and wrote test cases based on user stories from the development team.
Most recently, Bryan is working at Jalasoft as a Quality Engineer.
Bryan Barragán obtained a degree in Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones from Universidad de Antioquia, where they studied from 2009 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they attended Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) and obtained a degree as an Auxiliar en Técnico en Mantenimiento Electrónico, though the field of study was not specified. In addition to their formal education, Bryan has obtained several certifications, including a Curso de Economía Digital: Bitcoin y Criptomonedas from Platzi in July 2022, an Object Oriented Programming in Java certification from Coursera in September 2021, and a Python Scripting for DevOps certification from Coursera in September 2021, among others.
