John Cornell

John Cornell is an experienced engineering professional with a solid background in product research and development, particularly in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as Director of Product Research & Development and Information Systems at Jamco America since January 2007, John has played a pivotal role in developing a business class seat for commercial aircraft, engaging in all stages from concept to testing. Previous experience includes a position as a Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin, where John designed components for a Navy underwater system, and as an intern at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where John contributed to cancer research through the design of an electromechanical sorting system. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering from Walla Walla University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Adventist University.
