Jose Schmidt

Jose Schmidt has extensive experience in operational technology and software management, currently holding the position of Manager, Operational Technology Systems at James Hardie since December 2012. In various engineering roles, Jose has focused on standardizing manufacturing systems, supporting production line software, and overseeing system upgrades. Notable achievements include the development of a machine downtime application and the creation of manufacturing systems for material tracking and asset health. Prior experience includes IT management at Ethereal House Venezuela, consulting roles at MAN Ferrostaal and Onuva Enterprises, and teaching as an Assistant Professor at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Jose holds Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
