Benjamin Petell

Serving as the Vice President of Non-Gaming Operations, industry leader Benjamin Petell brings more than fifteen years of experience managing large-scale resort amenities and food & beverage operations to the Jamul Casino® team. In his role, Mr. Petell oversees all retail, food & beverage, facilities, security, and environmental services. He focuses on creating alignment across all departments by building team work, communication, and consistency. He is also passionate about creating unique experiences for guests.

Prior to joining Jamul Casino, Mr. Petell served as the Director of Beverage at Pechanga Resort Casino. He oversaw a fourteen-person leadership team and three hundred team members for fifteen bars, including several nightlife venues, and a theatre. He has also managed operations for a 1,087-room hotel, including beverage, valet, bell desk, concierge, restaurants, bars, a pool, and more than 500 team members. In this position, his budget management efforts resulted in a six-figure increase in operating income.

Mr. Petell earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in business from the University of Rhode Island. He has received company-wide recognition for his outstanding leadership.
