Geert Versweyveld

Geert Versweyveld is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Gastprofessor at Universiteit Gent since May 2023, Geert holds the position of Operations Manager for civil works at Jan De Nul Group since September 2011, where responsibilities include serving as Sr. project manager and overseeing significant projects such as the EPC construction of the harbor access A11 in Zeebrugge. Prior to this, Geert held the role of Manager uitvoering at Heijmans from February 2010 to August 2011. Geert's academic credentials include a degree in civil engineering (ir.) from KU Leuven, obtained between 1994 and 1996, along with education from KIH De Nayer.
