Shweta Singh has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Shweta began their career as a Verification Associate at First Advantage India, conducting employment verifications for clients. Shweta then joined XLHealth as a Member Scheduling Representative, where they answered inbound calls, scheduled appointments, and provided email support to members.
In 2014, Shweta joined Flipkart.com as an Assistant Manager in the Lifestyle category, where they supervised operations, managed a team, and implemented SOPs. Shweta then moved on to Snapdeal as an Account Manager, responsible for managing inventory, merchandising, and supply chain operations for FMCG, BabyCare, and Kids Fashion categories.
Shweta's next role was at The Himalaya Drug Company, where they served as a Brand Manager Ecommerce. Here, they managed the E-commerce portfolio for beauty, baby, health, and wellness categories, with a turnover of 300 crores. Shweta was responsible for driving BTL marketing, increasing consumer traffic, and co-owning the P&L for the category.
In 2021, Shweta joined Fast&Up India as the Head of Ecommerce, where they led the E-commerce team and managed operations. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Ecommerce at Kindly (YC W22), starting in November 2022.
Throughout their career, Shweta has demonstrated skills in team leadership, operations management, inventory management, and driving revenue growth.
Shweta Singh started their education in 2002 at Kendriya Vidyalaya Malkapuram, Vishakhapatnam, where they completed their SSLC degree in General Studies in 2003. Shweta then went on to pursue their Pre University education at Hasnath College for Women in Bangalore from 2005 to 2007, with a focus on PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology).
In 2007, Shweta enrolled at Silicon City College in Bangalore and obtained a BCA degree in Computer Applications in 2010. After gaining practical experience in the field, they furthered their education by pursuing an EMBA degree at Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) from 2015 to 2017, specializing in E-Commerce.
In addition to their formal education, Shweta Singh has obtained certifications in Product Contextual Ads and Product Listing Ads from Flipkart Ads in April 2022, showcasing their commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
