Janet Li

Janet Li is an experienced professional in bioinformatics and software development, currently serving as an Associate Developer at Jane.app since December 2022. Prior to this role, Janet worked as a Software Engineer at Deep Genomics for a brief period in mid-2022. Janet's background includes a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from The University of British Columbia, where bioinformatics studies were complemented by research roles at BC Cancer, including positions as an MSc. Bioinformatics Student and Bioinformatics Research Assistant. Janet also gained research experience at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry and as a Science Communications Intern at the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems. Earlier work includes a role as a Research Technician at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. Janet holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from The University of British Columbia.
