Karen Shakoske

Karen Shakoske is a seasoned marketing and corporate communications professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC since March 2005, Karen leads an interactive marketing team focused on brand strategy, financial advisor success, and corporate communications in a dynamic industry landscape. Previously, as Vice President and Marketing Manager at Parker/Hunter Incorporated, Karen developed comprehensive marketing strategies, including digital initiatives and media relations. Earlier roles include Special Events Coordinator at Carnegie Mellon University and Marketing Coordinator at Tucker Arensberg PC. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Allegheny College.
