Kaylin "Kai" M. has been working in the research field since 2016. Kaylin "Kai" began their career at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) as a Research Assistant (SRA2) in the Department of Medicine and a Student Clinical Assistant 2. In 2020, they joined the La Jolla Institute for Immunology as a Research Technician II. Currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Janux Therapeutics.

Kaylin "Kai" M. completed their Master of Science in Biology, General from UC San Diego in 2018, and their Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neuroscience from UC San Diego in 2015.
