Hongche Liu

Hongche Liu has an extensive and diverse work experience. Their most recent roles include being the VP of R&D at Japan Computer Vision Corp. and the Head of Taiwan Computer Vision Corp. Prior to that, they worked at LinkedIn as a Staff Software Engineer, where they developed AnaBot and i18n foundation technologies. Hongche was also a Member of Technical Staff at BloomReach and a Co-founder and CTO at Shopmoxie.com. In addition, Hongche held positions at Nominum, Spock, Yahoo, Etak, and NIST, where they had various roles and responsibilities, including Head of Consumer Engineering, Chief Architect, Director, Founding Chief Information Architect, Director of Information Retrieval, Technical Yahoo, Principal, and Director of R&D.

Hongche Liu has a Ph.D. in EE (computer vision) from the University of Maryland, which was completed in 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University.
