Akinori Shibata

Akinori Shibata is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in digital transformation and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at 株式会社JPデジタル since April 2023, Akinori has held significant positions within Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. as the Director of the DX Strategic Division since August 2012. Previous roles include CIO at JP Digital and various directorial positions at Oracle and 日本オラクル株式会社, where Akinori led initiatives in high-tech sales and global account management. Akinori holds a master's degree in Physics from Nagoya University, awarded in 1997.
