Masami Okada

Masami Okada is a marketing and event coordinating associate at the Japan Society of Northern California since January 2019, responsible for event promotion and logistics management. Prior experience includes an internship as a construction project manager at A2A Town (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., where oversight of project timelines and coordination with teams ensured quality outcomes. Masami served as a Japanese teaching intern at Kirirom Institute of Technology, enhancing students' knowledge of the language and culture. As a fundraiser for Save Poor Children in Asia Organization, Masami contributed to strategic fundraising initiatives and managed donor relationships via social media. Additionally, experience as an internship recruiting project manager and coordinator at AIESEC involved the recruitment process and student support. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an associate degree in Liberal Arts from Lakeland University Japan, along with studies at Meiji University.
