Bonson Lam

Bonson Lam has over 25 years of experience in the finance and energy industry. Bonson began their career in 1994 as an Auditor for the Audit Office of New South Wales. In 2004, they became the Finance Director for Rockhampton Moriah Property Unit Trust. In 2007, they took on the role of Retail Pricing Manager for Australian Power & Gas, where they developed and maintained pricing and gross margin models for retail customers. In 2011, they became a Consulting Regional Partner for Japan Travel KK. In 2014, they became the Manager Pricing and Commercial Analytics for Ergon Energy Retail. Lastly, they were a Senior Commercial Development Analyst and Group Auditor for AGL Energy from 2000 to 2007.

Bonson Lam has a diverse educational background, beginning with Sydney Boys High School. Bonson then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney in Accounting and Finance. Bonson later completed a Master's Degree in Economics from Macquarie University. In 2016, Bonson Lam earned a Graduate Certificate in Economics and Strategic Management - Aviation Management from Griffith University. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a NABERS Essentials from NABERS in December 2022 and a CPA from CPA Australia in January 1998.
