Rosie Yasukochi

Rosie Yasukochi is a talented graphic designer currently employed at the Japanese American National Museum since January 2020. In addition to this role, Rosie serves as the art director for Crybaby Zine, managing artistic submissions and staff while shaping the magazine's cultural vision. Previous experience includes an internship at Godmode Music, where responsibilities involved scouting talent and supporting music production, as well as a position as an event contractor at the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center. Earlier roles at KOXY Radio included station manager and promotions director, overseeing staff and promotional efforts. Rosie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Occidental College, complemented by a research grant focused on trans-generational trauma related to Japanese internment. Early work experience includes customer service positions at Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream and security at the Seattle Art Museum.
