Halle Sousa is a Development Associate and Executive Assistant at JCYC since September 2022, responsible for supporting key department operations and managing over 2,000 donor records in Salesforce. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for graduate and undergraduate courses at UC San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy from August 2021 to June 2022, where Halle facilitated the academic development of more than 40 students and provided one-on-one tutoring support to graduate students. Additional roles include an internship at the Japan Society of Northern California and a student internship focused on archaeological excavation at the Granada War Relocation Center. Halle holds a Master of International Affairs with a focus on International Development and Nonprofit Management from UC San Diego GPS and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from UC San Diego, complemented by a study abroad experience at Yonsei University in International Relations.
