Arisa Nakamura

Arisa Nakamura has a diverse range of experience in graphic design, marketing, and communications, currently working at the Japanese Cultural & Community Center of WA since 2017. In addition, Arisa is a cartoonist for North American Post Publishing, producing the bi-weekly comic "Shin Issei Journey" and designing a bimonthly newspaper in both English and Japanese. Previous work includes producing illustrations for the National Park Service, creating an illustrative map for the Wing Luke Museum, and coordinating a study tour for high school students from Japan focusing on sustainability. Arisa's academic background consists of a Master's in Landscape and Architecture from the University of Washington and multiple relevant degrees from institutions including Tokyo Institute of Technology and Japan Women's University.
