Shahab Tasharrofi

Shahab Tasharrofi has a wealth of work experience. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Programmer for Armitis. Shahab then moved on to become a Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University in 2008. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University and their research focused on extending an existing declarative language. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University, where they extended SAT solvers with special-purpose reasoning mechanisms. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Hopper and a Visiting Research Scholar at Université de Montréal. In 2019, they became a Senior Software Developer at Sonder Inc. and in 2020, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Jaris Inc., where they contribute to credit analysis/underwriting and makes sure data flows uninterrupted through their systems.

Shahab Tasharrofi obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University between 2008 and 2013. Shahab also obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology between 2005 and 2008.
