Jim Newberg

Jim Newberg is an accomplished automation manager with extensive experience in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently leading the Automation Department at Jasper Ventures, Inc. since March 2018, Jim oversees the development and management of PLC and DCS control systems for natural gas plants. Prior to this role, Jim served as a senior plant supervisor at DCP Midstream, where oversight of six cryogenic gas plants contributed to enhanced throughput and NGL recovery. Jim's earlier career at General Dynamics involved production management across various divisions, ensuring quality and timely delivery of satellite antenna equipment. Educational achievements include a BBA in Business Administration from LeTourneau University, complemented by foundational studies at Kilgore College and Chappell High School.
