Michael Tyrrell

Michael Tyrrell is a Senior Analyst at JPI, where responsibilities include providing consulting services to the United States Coast Guard's Acquisition Directorate and developing strategic documents to guide policy. Prior experience includes serving as a Communications Assistant at The C. Boyden Gray Center for the Study of the Administrative State, managing communications and media for various projects, and as a Writer for LastWordOnSports.com, producing international soccer content. Additionally, Michael has experience in journalism as a Reporter for Medill Reports Chicago and as a Social Studies Teacher in the educational sector. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
