Roger Flores

Roger Flores has a strong background in finance and accounting. Roger began their career in 1986 as an Accountant at Wafra Investment Advisory Group. Roger then worked as a Senior Staff Auditor at BDO Dunwoody LLP from 1990 to 1993. From 1993 to 2007, they held various roles at Jones Apparel Group Canada, including Assistant Controller and Controller. During this time, they successfully challenged proposed income tax and customs audit assessments, resulting in significant savings. In 2008, they joined Jones Apparel Canada as Vice President of Finance, where they provided guidance on inventory purchases, pricing decisions, and cost control strategies. Finally, in 2015, they joined Jaytex of Canada Ltd as VP Finance.

Roger Flores has a strong educational background in accounting and finance. Roger obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a specialization in Accounting from the University of the East. Roger also pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Investment and Finance from Baruch College. Additionally, they completed the requirements to become a Chartered Accountant through the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants.
