Mike Loft

Mike Loft is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Director of Process Chemistry at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since November 2017. Previously, Mike held the position of Section Head at CONCEPT LIFE SCIENCES (LABORATORIES) LIMITED from March 2016 to October 2017 and worked as a Chemistry Teacher at Rainham Mark Grammar School for a brief period in 2015. Mike's experience also includes teaching as a Primary School Teacher and serving as Section Head at Peakdale from 2010 to 2014. Earlier roles include Team Manager at GlaxoSmithKline, where Mike was a Line and Project Manager in the Chemical Development Division, and a position as Investigator within GlaxoWellcome in Dartford. Mike Loft obtained a PhD in Organometallic Chemistry from Imperial College London and completed postdoctoral research in Organic Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin.
