Robert Rainer

Robert Rainer has extensive work experience in regulatory affairs and information management within the pharmaceutical industry. Robert is currently serving as the Head of Global Regulatory Operations at Jazz Pharmaceuticals since 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Trevena, Inc. from 2016 to 2020 as the Head of Regulatory Affairs Operations and R&D Information Technology. In 2014, they were a Managing Consultant at Navitas Life Sciences, where they led large Regulatory Affairs Operations technology and process initiatives. From 2013 to 2014, they held the role of Managing Consultant at DePuy Synthes Companies, leading IT integration and transformation projects. Robert served as the Head of Regulatory Affairs Operations and Regulatory Information Management at Endo Pharmaceuticals from 2006 to 2013, and as the Head of Regulatory Information Management at Johnson & Johnson (Centocor) from 2001 to 2006. Robert started their career in various database designer and administrator roles, working at Essential Technologies, Inc., CSC, and SunGard (now part of FIS) from 1997 to 2001.

Robert Rainer attended Widener University from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Management Information Systems and Management. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management / M.I.S. during the same period of enrollment at Widener University.
