Erika Owings

Erika Owings has extensive work experience in the architecture and real estate development field. Erika currently holds a leadership role as Vice President of Development at JBG SMITH since April 2021. Prior to that, they also held the position of Vice President of Asset Management at the same company from January to April 2021. Erika joined JBG SMITH as an Associate in April 2019.

Before working at JBG SMITH, Erika worked at Hickok Cole Architects from November 2012 to March 2019. Erika started as a Staff Architect and later became an Associate.

Erika's professional journey began at Wiencek + Associates Architects where they worked as an Architectural Designer from August 2011 to October 2012.

Erika also gained valuable experience at Development Design Group, Inc. as a Project Designer from July 2007 to July 2011.

Erika Owings completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland between 2003 and 2007. Later, they pursued a Master's of Professional Studies in Real Estate Development from Georgetown University from 2012 to 2014.
