Sean McCauley

Sean McCauley, CPA has a diverse work experience that includes roles in tax analysis, the army reserve, graduate research assistance, soccer refereeing, bookkeeping, and infantry. Currently, they are working as a Senior Tax Analyst at JBG SMITH. Prior to that, they worked at the United States Army Reserve as a Battalion S-4. Sean has also served as a Tax Associate at PwC Tax and as a Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason University - School of Business. Additionally, Sean has experience as a Soccer Referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation and as a Bookkeeper at FTAS, Inc. Sean also served as an Infantryman in the Virginia Army National Guard, where they demonstrated their proficiency in heavy weapon systems and worked on various missions including infantry operations and emergency response efforts.

Sean McCauley, CPA has a strong educational background in accounting. Sean obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from the George Mason University - School of Business in 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from George Mason University in 2019. In 2016, Sean attended Northern Virginia Community College for a year, although the exact degree and field of study are unknown.

Apart from their academic credentials, Sean McCauley has also obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the VBOA - Virginia Board of Accountancy in August 2023.
