Alana Vogel has extensive work experience in the design and events industries. Alana started their career in 2011 as an Event Programmer for USU Program Council, where they worked until 2014. In 2012, they joined Associated Students, Incorporated at California State University Long Beach as an Arts Commissioner, where they organized a large-scale community event and coordinated an international event with Architects of Air.
In 2015, Alana began working for JBI Interiors as a Design Resource Librarian and Marketing Assistant. In this role, they assisted the design team with research projects, materials, and marketing board presentations. Alana also maintained relationships with various vendors and helped create graphic design and marketing materials for meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
Alana's role at JBI Interiors progressed, and they became a Jr. Interior Designer from September 2016 to January 2018. During this time, they gained experience in managing AutoCAD drawings and working closely with contractors and architects to meet client goals.
From January 2018 to August 2019, they served as a Project Designer at JBI Interiors, where they continued to contribute to design projects and collaborate with clients, contractors, and architects.
Alana currently holds the position of Lead Project Designer at JBI Interiors, starting in August 2019. In this role, they manage designers' AutoCAD drawings, conducts meetings with clients to ensure their design needs are met, and coordinates the execution of projects according to interior codes, demographics, and deadlines.
In 2015, Alana also worked as an Event Consultant and Graphic Designer for Orange Door Consulting. Alana was responsible for organizing and designing events, as well as developing graphic design work for presentations, invitations, newsletters, and flyers.
