Michael Skala

Michael Skala has a diverse work experience in the golf industry. Michael started their career as a Golf Professional at the Golf Academy of America in 2011. Michael then moved on to work as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Mt. Woodson Golf Club from 2012 to 2013. Michael joined Sycuan Golf & Tennis Resort as an Assistant Golf Professional from 2013 to 2015. Michael then worked as the Tournament Director at Carlton Oaks Golf Resort from 2015 to 2017. Following that, they were the Director of Golf Operations at Boulder Oaks Golf Club in 2017. Currently, they are working at JC Golf, where they started as a First Assistant in 2018 and is now the Head Golf Professional. Additionally, they also own and operates STSS Golf since 2009.

Michael Skala completed their education at two different institutions. From 1986 to 1991, they attended Menlo College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Later, in 2011 and 2012, Michael enrolled in the Golf Academy of America, earning an Applied/Occupational Associate Degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management. Additionally, they obtained a Teaching Certificate and a certification in Tournament Operations from the Golf Academy of America in May 2012.
