James Ong

James Ong has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. James started their career as an ICT Executive at River Valley Primary School in 2007. James then worked as a Systems Admin at NUBEE PTE LTD from 2012 to 2012 before joining Gumi Asia Pte Ltd as a Systems Engineer from 2012 to 2013. Afterwards, they worked at Ace Pacific as a Security Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Following that, they joined King as an APAC Lead IT Engineer from 2015 to 2017. James then worked at BeautyOne International Pte Ltd, first as a Regional Senior IT Manager from 2017 to 2018, and then as a Regional Deputy General Manager, IT infrastructure and Security from 2018 to 2020. James then moved to Ubisoft as an IT Manager SEA from 2020 to 2022, and later became a Senior Manager, IT and Workplace from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Head of IT Infrastructure, Operation and Digital, Asia at JCDecaux since 2023.

James Ong earned a Diploma in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied from 2000 to 2003. James then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in the same field at University of Wales via MDIS from 2004 to 2006.
