Mahwish Bute

Mahwish Bute has a diverse work experience spanning over 17 years. Mahwish currently holds the role of Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at J.D. Power since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Magnolia Compliance starting in February 2019. From December 2018 to December 2019, they served as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Autodata Solutions.

Before transitioning into leadership roles, Mahwish gained extensive experience as a Senior Software Developer at Urban Science from January 2016 to December 2018. During this time, they worked on a green field multi-tenant security system and collaborated with colleagues from the United States and Germany. Mahwish also worked as a Software Developer for Urban Science from March 2011 to December 2015, where they were involved in developing and implementing business applications.

Prior to Urban Science, Mahwish worked as a Software Developer at Arrow Strategies from July 2010 to February 2011. Mahwish began their career as an Associate Program Analyst at Eclipsys from July 2008 to July 2010, where they supported the information technology needs of the Karmanos Cancer Institute.

Mahwish also has experience as a Program Associate at the Karmanos Cancer Institute from August 2005 to July 2008, where they designed and implemented business applications. Mahwish started their career as an Intern Programmer at Henry Ford Community College from June 2003 to June 2005, where they focused on program analysis and report generation using Web FOCUS and Oracle.

Mahwish Bute pursued their education in the field of computer science, starting from 2001 to 2005, at Henry Ford College. During this time, they focused on transfer courses to prepare herself for further studies. Mahwish then enrolled at the University of Michigan in 2004 and completed their four-year undergraduate program in Software Engineering, earning a Bachelor's degree in 2008.
