Lara Root Chre

Lara Root CHRE serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of HR for U.S. Markets and Global Solutions at TransUnion since June 2022. Concurrently, Lara holds positions as Chair and Board Member of the Jean Tweed Centre, an organization dedicated to assisting women facing substance use, gambling, and mental health issues, since July 2015. Previous roles include Chief People Officer at CBI Health, Vice President of Human Resources at Rogers Communications, and Vice President of Human Resources at TD. Lara began a career in Human Resources at Bell and has served in leadership roles at Citi, where Lara was Senior Vice President Human Resources for Citicards Canada. Education includes a BAH in Sociology from Queen's University, certification as a coach from The International Coach Federation, and studies in Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
