Krystal Skaggs

Krystal Skaggs is a seasoned professional in the mental health field, currently serving as a School Mental Health Specialist at The Jed Foundation since July 2023. With a background as a Licensed Professional Counselor since January 2021, Krystal has extensive experience in educational settings, having worked as a Behavior Specialist for the Mesquite Independent School District from August 1995 to June 2023. Krystal's training includes trauma-informed care, ACEs, Boys Town methodologies, and Social Emotional Learning from Momentous Institute. Krystal holds a Master of Science in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services and a Bachelor of Education, both from Texas A&M University-Commerce, completed in 1998 and 1995, respectively.
