Caitlin R. has a solid work experience in various engineering roles. Caitlin worked as a Process Engineer at Jedson Engineering, where they were involved in a greenfield plant expansion project for a cGMP facility. Their responsibilities included project management, scheduling, and reviewing and approving submittals and drawings. Prior to that, Caitlin worked at Toray Plastics (America), Inc. as a Process Engineer, where they built a predictive model to project changes in composition of molten, heat-transfer salt. Caitlin also identified the root cause of the composition shift and secured a lower price on a raw material to address the issue. Additionally, Caitlin worked as a Chemical Engineering Intern at the same company, during which they developed a predictive model for heat-transfer salt composition and significantly reduced sampling costs and time. Caitlin gained internship experience at Nareit in 2016.
Caitlin R. completed their education at the University of Virginia, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Caitlin attended the university from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their degree, Caitlin has obtained several certifications, including a Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera in December 2022 and an Engineer In Training certification from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in March 2022.
