Sean Byrne

Structural Engineer at Jedson Engineering

Sean Byrne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sean began their career as a Flooring Installer at Eastern Shore Home Beautifiers in 2001, where they managed business aspects and completed various projects. In 2012, they worked as an Intern at Ship Architects before transitioning to the role of Graduate Assistant at the University of South Alabama in 2014. During this time, they assisted in class assignments, lab studies, grading, and student resource management. In 2016, Sean joined The Kleingers Group as a Structural/Bridge Engineer, where they worked until 2020. Sean then joined AECOM as a Bridge Engineer, specializing in bridge engineering until 2022. Currently, Sean is working as a Structural Engineer at Jedson Engineering starting in August 2022.

Sean Byrne has a solid education background in Civil Engineering. Sean obtained a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution from 2011 to 2014. Sean began their higher education journey at James H Faulkner State Community College, where they pursued an Associate's degree in Civil Engineering from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Sean Byrne holds a certification as a SPRAT Certified Rope Access Level 1 Technician, which they obtained from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) in August 2021.
