Dave Weiss

David Weiss serves as the Chief of Schools at Jeffco Public Schools in Colorado since May 2014, leading the School Leadership Office. With extensive experience in educational leadership, David has held positions such as Community Superintendent and Principal, managing operations for schools with significant faculty and student populations. Additionally, David is involved in higher education as an Associate Instructor at the University of Colorado Denver and served as an Affiliate Instructor at Regis University. Prior roles include Assistant Principal in Douglas County School District, Summer School Principal at Arapahoe Community College, and various teaching positions in Denver Public Schools and other educational settings. David holds an Ed Leadership degree from the University of Denver, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Youngstown State University.
