Durukal Gun

Durukal Gun is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in macroeconomic strategy and equity research. Currently serving as a Director and EM Sovereign Analyst at Jefferies since December 2018, Durukal Gun specializes in macroeconomic and fixed income strategy for EEMEA sovereigns, including Türkiye, Ukraine/CIS, and CEE. Prior to this role, Durukal Gun worked at Barclays Investment Bank for over six years, holding positions as Director and EEMEA Economist/Strategist and as EEMEA Banks Analyst, focusing on the Turkish banking sector. Earlier experience includes a Vice President role at UniCredit, where responsibilities included equity strategy and thematic research, and a Banks Analyst position at Yapı Kredi. Durukal Gun holds a Master of Science in Finance & Economics from Alliance Manchester Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bilkent University.
