Kiara Kuenzler has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Kiara worked at Jefferson Center for Mental Health, starting as a psychologist in 2013 and later serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services from October 2017 to July 2018. In 2018, they became the President and CEO of the organization.
Kiara also has had various board positions, including being a Board Member at Porchlight Family Justice Center since December 2019, and a Board Secretary at mhca - Mental Health Corporations of America since February 2021. Kiara also serves as a Board Member at Mental Health Risk Retention Group since February 2021.
Earlier in their career, Kiara worked at Foothills Behavioral Health Partners where they held multiple roles, including Chief Operating Officer, Director of Quality Improvement, and Performance Improvement and Quality. Kiara started in May 2011 and left in September 2017.
Kiara has also worked as a psychologist at AspenPointe from November 2009 to April 2013 and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado Denver from August 2009 to May 2011.
Kiara Kuenzler holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology, which they obtained from Butler University in the years 1999-2003. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver from 2004 to 2006. Following this, Kiara completed their Doctor of Psychology degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they furthered their education as a Post Doctoral Fellow in Administrative and Evaluation Psychology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from 2008 to 2009.
