Lenya Robinson has extensive experience in the mental health and healthcare industry. Lenya started their career as a Therapist at the Mental Health Center of Denver in 1999 and held various roles including Program Manager and Assistant Program Manager. In 2004, they established their own private practice, Lenya Robinson Psychotherapy, where they worked as a Licensed Psychotherapist until 2015.
From 2012 to 2015, Lenya worked at the Colorado Department of Human Services, first as an Associate Director and then as the Director of Trauma Informed and Integrated Care Programs. Lenya also held positions at the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing as a Section Manager and later as the Manager of the Population Health Unit and Trauma Informed Care.
In 2018, Lenya and their wife took a break to travel the US in an RV, and in 2019, they joined the Jefferson Center for Mental Health as the Chief Operating Officer. Overall, Lenya has a diverse background in mental health, healthcare management, and program development.
Lenya Robinson obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
