Marcus Battle

Marcus Battle is a Civil Engineer with significant experience in construction compliance and planning. Currently employed by the Jefferson County Commission since September 2020, Marcus reviews construction plans, utility permits, and pipe studies to ensure adherence to building and zoning regulations. Previously, Marcus worked as a Junior Shop Manager at OnTime Service from February 2016 to June 2018, overseeing shop inventory and assisting with the evaluation and distribution of HVAC parts. Earlier experience includes an internship at the New York City Department of Transportation in the summer of 2009, where Marcus contributed to pedestrian traffic data collection and maintained employee records. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, obtained in 2012, and graduated with an Advanced Regents diploma in Engineering from A Philip Randolph Campus High School in 2006.
